The villagers of Edmund Valley work tirelessly as the overbearing sun scorches the drought-dried land. Though the drought has made things difficult for the people, they have hope, because they know that when the sun reaches its peak on the hottest day of the year, they arrive, and they bring miracles with them.

Procession is a game about monsters and miracles. It is a game about imagining a village, and then making it better through unconventional means. It is a game about empathizing with bizarre beings. You do not play any single character, but embody the town of Edmund Valley as a whole and the bizarre creatures that pass through it.

Procession is a short single-player game, and is inspired by both Avery Alder's The Quiet Year and Takuma Okada's Alone series. The only thing required to play the game is a deck of cards, but it is recommended to also use paper and pencil to record your thoughts. The game is 8 pages long including the front and back cover, and features Wendel Dietterlin's Renaissance art, Procession of Monstrous Figures.

8 pages, staple-bound softcover, 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Full color.
